Kal smiled as he set up the surprise party with the others. Over at the other side of the room was her farther Harmon. "She will be surprised to see you here Harmon" he smiled to him. "Yup, but if I know her she will have forgot it in name of some warp core repair" he chuckled.

"I can fix that." Julian said. "The preparations are almost done so I'll go get her up as fast as I can." He added and walked to a console in the mess hall. He pulled of the front panel, and rearranged several weirs. It began to spark and then set off an alarm. "Don't worry I can fix it. Its just to get her attention. :-*Miss Munro you are needed in the mess hall.

"God dam it, why today?" she cursed and walked to the mess hall with a kit. As she walked in she noticed it was dark. "Dam it powers out to!"

Suddenly the lights sprang to life and the dark figures now filled with colour to reveal there true selfs as the crew. They all shouted one word that sent the engineer back a foot.
Surprise!

Telmera walked up to Maria.
"Congradulations, altough Romulans don't celebrate the day of their birth, I believe it is customary to give gifts on this occassion." Telmera handed Maria a clear bottle with blue liquid in it.
"It's a bottle I was keeping, I have very few from this year, 2381, but it was a good year for ale." she said.
"Happy, Birthday." she added, trying to remember that was the standard salutation at these events, which made it sound sort of mechanical, yet sincere.
