thats stardate 55000.00 for information and then the rest is based on the actuall day, I hate it when people are so newbish and they put "945.435.342" and actually think its a date, be pro and go to... www.route56.com/startrek/stardate.htmlbut in the year and current date (as in, todays date) and you will get a much better and more accurate stardate than anything you make up, and besides, it just looks stupid to make it up.

Sorry but I get really confused with those things. I put in the current date and stuff and it comes up with: Stardate 55681.74181818182
Just thouhg tnew players would like to know before they started yelling their head off about it.

both one or two figures after the decimal place are acceptable in my opinion, its just like saying 3:30pm or 3:31pm... ok its more complicated then that, but basically thats it, so both are right.
If that happens when you get stuff like
52000.199999873465
just round it up... so in this case it would be
52000.2 or 52000.19
see? easy, just remember to use the real life month and day and time, but the sims year ok-e-day?

Yes very crummy indeed, and people, please don't just make-up stardates, lets try to make this as real as possible, not some life-less imatation.
Things I mean are like having more then one decimal point ('.' repeated at all), Having stardates way out of proportion, I mean use todays month and so on, and remember the correct year... being 2378.
